Horn speaker flower power

IDEA: An electroacoustic composition and kinetic sculpture constructed around beat poet Gregory Corso’s controversial poem BOMB.

WHAT: 'Summer of love' is a large sound/sculpture installation consisting of 21 giant kinetic flowers made of kevlar, carbon fiber and fiber glass. Max 2,5 m in height, each flower sits atop an upward-pointed loudspeaker. A mechanism rotates according to the vibrations of the speaker.

WHY: In 1967 it was the atom bomb, while today global warming competes with ISIS on the catwalk of doom. Embraces these fears as a means of conquering them, cultivating a dancing flower garden to survive the Flood.
